The Backstory Behind Ergolign

Hi, I'm Dr. Mike, a chiropractor with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and over 30 years of experience helping patients achieve optimal physical well-being. Throughout those years, I constantly observed patients slouching in my waiting room, even though they knew better posture was key to their recovery. In addition to treating thousands of patients, I've also dealt with serious spinal injuries myself.

A skiing accident left me with compression fractures, disc bulges, and herniated discs that eventually led to spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease. (See my MRI & X-rays below.)

These injuries caused chronic back issues, sciatica, numbness, tingling, and even foot drop. The pain became so severe and constant that I was forced to sell my chiropractic practice and take a leave of absence to focus on rehabilitation. I get it. When the pain was at its worst, I consulted with an orthopedic surgeon who told me I needed back surgery. That was the moment I knew I had to find another way.

My injuries made it painfully clear how inadequate most sitting solutions really are. They pushed me to completely rethink my approach to posture, biomechanics, and spinal rehabilitation.
